      It is one of the rushes - perhaps Juncus Ensifolus, judging by this seedhead. Lots of it in the grounds around Holy Trinity - again confirming how damp it was up there! Yxx

    I had already done the lens search for loose strife because those yellow flowers are all new to me and I LOVE yellow flowers best of all... they are gorgeous. we live in a beautiful world, in spite of the not so beautiful things we humans do to it. happy photos today
