What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menoptional; Take It Or Leave It

Am having a fallow day again today. Not lazy; just a bit... unfocused. I can feel the autumn in the breeze as it cuts through the narrow opening in the window. I get the occasional whiff of fire smoke as folk start to light fires with the cooling of the evenings. There is that holding of celestial breath I sense at the turning of seasons... too early, it seems, yet there, nonetheless.

Some of you will have seen this meme. I liked it and use it here to give you the option of enjoying it again - or for the first time. See you tomorrow with FFF. (I screenshot it from the instything, thanks Mary Ann.)

  1. All the best, YAM. I love the turning of the seasons, I must admit. The rain this week was so welcomed. I hear you about unfocused. Take care! XX

  2. It's not autumn here, yet. I haven't encountered a single turning leaf. Probably from the excess of rain.

  3. Looking at the weather reports from ‘home’ (Victoria) I think the seasons are on hold. Winter is still there, freezing cold still, icy rainy windy still! Hopefully all will change when we leave this tropical paradise and travel back south at the end of September. I’m calling your name Spring….make sure you read the road map correctly and arrive in good time for my homecoming😊

  4. Excellent meme. Gail is looking forward to a fallow day tomorrow after 3 days energetic cycling around the Borders. Also looking forward to seeing Nobby again after his three days at 'Doggy AirBnB'!

  6. I just said to Bob yesterday, I wonder if when November comes, our heat will get less and humidty lower, we have not cold but the heat becomes bearable. since the weather is so out of normal, will we get the Normal Nov? or will it continue to be way to hot. the heat has leached the energy from me and i can hardly make myself walk Beau
