WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-Now-Catmudgeoned...

"You are aware it is bedtime, are you not?"
Tigger comes and paws and meows, then looks pointedly at the wooden hill.

"Sleeping arrangements - you have the room - but I have the 'Satellite'"

"It is my place. As is the igloo on F and Mr B's bed.
I will sleep in either of these places..."

"...unless I choose to share your bed..."

"Is that understood?"
Absolutely, Tigger, mate. No arguments here.

"And you rise when I tell you it's time and not that bell, okay?..
Now, what does this thing do... GGARRKK!"

... yeah, well, you've shot yourself, Tigs ol' boy...

Meanwhile, when the sitter has some time between morning and evening, she has been keeping her hands busy with hook and yarn. F saw a need and handed me these before leaving last week. I am having to restrict myself to no more than two patterns (six rows) per day... but it is still going to be finished by the weekend.

Also, there was a big surprise last Sunday when I received a call from Mac2 wondering if I would welcome a visitor. She lives little more than an hour's drive from Tigger's castle, and although overcast at the time, we agreed a lunch and catch-up would be grand. By the time she got here, it was sunhats and specs and 15'C! I whipped up a hot tabouli of green veg (broccoli marrow, green beans, asparagus, snowpeas) and mixed salad (lettuce, spinach, rocket, zucchini, radish, tomato) with a Skyr dressing (Skyr Icelandic yoghurt, a dash of soy sauce, honey and cracked black pepper), and we ate in the back garden, enjoying the warmth, birds, and good chatter. A delightful interlude.

Tomorrow, news of some ooting and booting...

  1. Mac2 makes you so happy. You look alike, as you know. And you resemble Tigger, in mystery, not in looks

  3. They’re not daft are they??? And for some reason they always seem to get their own way!
That’s a great photo of you and your sister…..no disputing that’s what you are. Did Tigger say hello or was she given the cold shoulder? No eating on our back deck today, slightly chilly out there, 2pm and 7°c. That’s Melbourne for you.

  8. Tigger all who have ever had the privilege of living with felines are very much aware there are house rules. And those rules are subject to change in a split second and several times a day. I think your rules were clearly presented to YAM. You are a most handsome Tabby. I love your close up.

YAM what a wonderful surprise to have a Mac1 come for a visit to share that delicious meal.
I really like the color of your new crocheting project
