WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

MenoSundays; Life Lived Lovingly

One of the ways of showing Love with the capital 'ell' is to be prepared to offer up support and thoughts/prayers for those who are troubled or unwell, even if they are far distant from us and strangers, too. This can apply to all the people of the world who are under the threat of war, famine, fire, or flood at the macro end of Love... and it can apply to the micro when it comes down to the more personal level.

Today I would like to say that my dear, dear "furiend" Tigger has been unwell of late. Mainly it is a matter of age playing out, but that doesn't mean that we can't send out pawsitive vibes and meowningful wishes for the easing of any aches and pains and that his later life is without suffering.

There has been a post put up on the Blogville POTP page where, if you feel moved to do so, you can leave a message, or you can go to the link above to Tigger's own blog... or just leave your thoughts here with this post.

Most of you here will have read my posts about meeting Tigger and his peeps, F and Mr B, and how we have become firm friends. I am blessed to know such people and to have shared time with a very special cat. I am sad that F and Mr B are faced with the inevitable encroachment of time upon the beloved Tigger. It is sad to think of a place without Tigger... but let it not be yet and let it be without any length of discomfort. Please join me in sending out a wave of Love to him... and let it spread out to the world as a whole. Heaven knows that Love is needed...

NB: F has advised that Tigger crossed the rainbow bridge this afternoon of his own volition. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers; knowing the Love is there will be succour for F and Mr B.

  4. We can't thank you enough first for agreeing to be supervised by Tigger back in May, for you return, and for elicting all the messages of support we have received in the last few days. Everyone experiences loss in their lives - better to have loved and lost....as the saying goes. Tigger is sunbathing on the guest bed today and we feel blessed to have another day, and sunshine with him. F

  10. I have so much enjoyed following Tigger who could be the twin of my dear Tucker who always had lots to say and supervised in the same way... I will miss his unique take on life. So so sorry that you have lost him but glad he could leave his own way and on his own chosen time.
