I recognise Suilven! Incredibly, I took Hamish the Westie up there in 2001. It's a long hike however approached and e didn't take the 'shortest' route. Poor little dog was exhausted by the time we got back to the car after 18 miles. It was the longest walk I've ever done with any of my dogs! Cheers, Gail.
The rooster is indeed a handsome bird. One of my birding highlights is having seen Gallus gallus in the wild in both Bhutan and Vietnam. Did you experience it during your stay in India?
