Began another project... the sock yarn was part of the Temu bulk buy I did in January... among that haul was this stuff. Ignore the label. It is neither silk nor wool. It is bright... and, despite being 100% polyester, proving to be a delight to work with. This started out just as an experimental swatch. I couldn't stop. The feel and smoothness of how this yarn works up has kept me going. What will this turn into do you think?
A couple of weeks back, I drew back the curtains in the morning and found this (it was nearing seven a.m.)
Yes, that's a crust of frost and an icy halo around the setting moon. In the evening of the same day (and a point at which the lengthening light was starting to make itself felt as this was nearly five p.m.).....
Excellent socks. Also lovely.
ReplyDeleteEarlier I couldn't comment. It seems okay now though. Anyway I wanted to admire your views, all of them!
ReplyDeleteThe socks look comfy and warm. Not sure what your new project will become, but the colors are very nice. And that photo of the moon - priceless.
