Menoturals; Nature Friday Avian and Geological

A simple little (and bitty) video today, items that I would not include in the general video runs, but I am sure you will enjoy. Sharing with the LLB gang for Nature Friday. Don't forget next week is FFF/NF joint day!

  2. It's certainly been nice weather for ducks lately, hasn't it?
Cheers Gail (who spent many, many hours staring down a microscope studying thin sections of rocks in mineralogy/petrology classes during undergraduate days).

  4. I see ducks every day, but have never seen a swan except in places I have to pay to see them. no wild swans here that I know of.. I can attest to the fact ducks make a mess on pool decks. I would like to play with the rock viewer, never seen rocks like that or that way to view... very interesting

  6. Hello,
Nice video, I love all the birds. Great captures of the Moorhen, Swan and Mallards. The feeder attracted some cute little birds. Take care, have a wonderful day and a happy weekend.

  8. I never realized just how big swans were compared to mallards.

What wonderful colors emerge from the colors in the rock "slices"!
Thanks for the wonderful contribution to NF today!!

  10. What fun sites you had to show us. Those mallards were hoping you had some hand outs for them.
