What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Your photographic skills are on display here, YAM. I haven’t seen the word “tun” used since a pub in Staffordshire called The Three Tuns. There is evidently a clear association with beer.
There is not a photo on this page that I do not absolutely love! The restaurant or whatever that pub is is my favorite just because I love old buildings but they're all stunning including that bridge. And your beautiful knitting is my favorite color of all and every room in my house is full of that color.
That red is incredible! As are your pictures of mostly grey days.
ReplyDeleteLooks like someone has been busy with the yarn again. We love the stone building - The Mash Tun. Hope you are doing better.
ReplyDeleteYou were up that way...nice around there. That is an impressive colour shawl !
ReplyDeleteLove the stonework on the Mash Tun and your new red crocheted piece is a beautiful color!

DeleteYes, David - a Tun was a large cask for wine or beer and from it one could draw four hogsheads... 🙃 Yxx

Those rich reds keep bringing me back.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful selection...from the reds of your crocheting, to the beautiful architecture!
ReplyDeleteThe red is very rich - an absolute raspberry ripple delight - and I love the bridge (well love them all but always try to have a favorite.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful crochet creation you are working on. Those are all great pictures from your travels.
ReplyDeleteYou must be so happy to get out and about like this!
