Sharing a few "screenshots" - what Hettie the Hielan' Coo sees through Grey's front window... As you will see, not every park up is bucolic or bright. I have to say, though, that I would happily stay at the Airdrie Tesco et al carpark again; toilets till eleven at night and fresh bread in the morning with a grand sleep in between! Then there are the spots that are simply tourist-oriented but are rather appealing nonetheless. But we do tend to prefer the hideaways in forests - or up in the hills!

That seems a decent little electric scooter across the lot there, though the tires aren't quite enough for sand, I think.
ReplyDeleteNice. I like the van with the horses!! Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics, Greetings
ReplyDeleteAh Airdrie! A part of Scotland I heard about a lot during my childhood as my father, though based at the Boots HQ in Nottingham, had responsibilities for the (long closed) Boots factory in Airdrie factory too, and frequently went up there on business. No-one could label the town as one of Scotland's beauty spots.
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
first we thought the horses are on the camper rool LOL
ReplyDeleteA fan of hideaways in hills too. Great shot of the rain on the windshield. <3
ReplyDeleteNice views. Liked the first photo of waterdrops on the front glass. I will Airdrie to my to-visit list.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can convince Tesco to add showers and then you’ll have everything!
ReplyDeleteHettie has some great views out the window. The horses are cool. I assume Tesco's lot is like the Walmart lots here, plenty of room for the RV"s. Take care, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeletenice view for Coo and you... the horses appear to be tearing up to kick that van/truck. they are magnificent
ReplyDeleteHettie has a great view and I would prefer the hideaways too!

ReplyDeleteYou are having such adventures! We've another rain storm here! XX Happy trails.
ReplyDeleteThe countryside park ups are beautiful but there is something to be said about having toilets close by so late at night. Thanks for taking us along on all your adventures.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to park with the great view of the Kelpies!
ReplyDeleteWe wonder what Hettie thought of those big horses adorning the front of that van.
ReplyDeleteI find brick on road fastnatic. Do new road have them?

DeleteNo, Dora, sadly most of the public roads are plain old tar...and in very poor condition. This paved area is on private land... Yxx
Hi Yam - I think Hettie the Hielan' Coo will be happy she has a dry home to stay in! You are certainly finding your way round various aspects of travel with 'the Grey' ... cheers Hilary
