Menoturals; Saturday Sounds
The Gull fledglings are not entirely up to flying for their food... so the adults oblige. Crank up the sound/don the earphones, and listen for the faint peeping sounds the youngsters make for begging - watch as they are responded to. I had just missed the raucous calls of the parents as one flew back from the sea and passed the baton to the other to take a break from kid-minding!

Gull kids, like human kids, can be pretty demanding. But at least they don’t want to live with mom and dad until they are thirty!

ReplyDeleteI am very fond of gulls, and they seem to be as much trouble as a human baby but it last a much shorter time period
