Me-Now-Views; Less Speak More Peek

For the first Nature Friday post this month, I introduced you to views of the Clyde from Port Glasgow. Now, beside the water, in the same park, views of the town hall, the old ropeworks (now trendy living) with The Shipbuilders installation, and then some beauty shots of the artwork, which was only fully completed in spring this year. It honours the long and widespread tradition of shipbuilding on Clydeside. All the way along the banks, there used to be activities related to that industry. Long gone... (and tacked on at the end, just another angle on the steam engine in the mills at New Lanark.)

  1. I can't help but wonder what some of the original inhabitants of these ex-industrial areas would think of them today. I once visited New Lanark - interesting place. Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
