Menoturals; A First Friday Filmclub Post

December—time for something to cheer and lift us. One might question this being used for Nature Friday, but any critter is a part of the natural world—even when placed in unnatural surroundings!

Those paying attention will have gathered my love of cattle. Whether it would stretch to subject one to this sort of event is debatable. There can be no denying the love and attention these pet cows receive... and one thing I do know is that if a cow didn't want to do this, it just wouldn't be there! There's no persuading a ton of flesh to turn right if it is determined to turn left.

And because it is Nature Friday, I must leave you with a Rose for Rosy!

  2. I have seen a couple of clips of people treating their cows like large pets. It's heartwarming to see these great animals responding to gentle massage.

  6. I love cows, prefer them naked, ha ha, but I can see why people go to look, like a parade of people dressed up.. some of these cows are really beautiful. I would love to pet them for sure

  7. In our last home, with 65 acres behind, we had the pleasure of getting to know long horn cattle (who have distinct , and interesting, personalities) and later beef cattle, who seemed dull, in comparison. The roses are lovely.

  10. OMC(ows) YAM I have learned to love cows thru you...especially your Highland cows. I am quite envious of their furs.
This was such a fun post. Totally enjoyed it. Happy to say I milked a cow...not well mind you but I did get a steady steam of milk for 87 seconds.

  11. We LOVE Cows! All Cows should have crowns! So should milk maids (Mom milked cows for a couple summers when she worked on a Dude ranch which is why she likes cows). She thinks she would like a crown too!
On a sad note, we just read the posts about Gail and Nobby. We send YOU (and Nobby) healing and love. Keep being awesome. Marvelous Marv, Kozmo, Jo Jo, Nutcase er Nutmeg and Mom Barb

  14. I never had cows, but we did have milk goats for about 8 years. I also prefer them naked. Both cows and goats.
