Today's
Nature Friday offering is by way of a short video, taken a couple of weekends back when I was at Falkland. There's a little bit of wind sound as I rotate, but listen out for all the birds... Merlin tells me all these were singing at the time...
Love birds singing!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful
ReplyDeletenothing better than bird sounds and breezes, sunshine and greens of nature. this is what we hear when we walk at sunrise each day, I love the sounds, I thought I heard a crow, so maybe that is the jackdaw sound. or maybe jackdaw is a word for crow. but we here a lot of those on our walk, and 2 really silly and loud mocking birds. they make me giggle hearing them sing through their song sets
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful video to wake up to with the birds singing and all of the beautiful flowers. Those hedges are pruned to perfection!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love hearing the birds singing, a happy sound. Great video. Take care, have a great day!
Hi Yam - sounds wonderful with the birds singing so loudly and happily in the Spring sunshine. I can't quite place the blue flowers ... the daffs I know! ... the little blue ones - I don't think they're bluebells ... but it all looks so lush and green. But that wind ...??? Cheers - lovely to listen to, thank you - cheers Hilary

DeleteThey are Wood Squill (Scilla Siberica)... the wind was a tad chill, but not that bad. The microphone unfortunately makes it sound worse. Yxx
I can safely say, YAM, that I not going to hear any of those species on my walk today! Might hear and see a couple of their kissing cousins though.
ReplyDeleteYAM Aunty what a lovely video of Mother Nature at her best. Lush green grass, lavender flowers, a gentle breezes and lots of tweets.

Thanks for sharing that beautiful spring day with us. It will be a few weeks before it's like that here.
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely and fun video - such pretty scenery and sounds of Spring. While we don't have rooks or jackdaws in the U.S., I recognize the call of a Corvid family member when I hear it.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful Sprng sounds and scenery. Spring is also in full bloom here, and the Spring bird migration is about to kick off!!
ReplyDeletePeeess - Can you believe I just downloaded Merlin this morning(before heading to the Botanical Gardens). What a coincidence!
How wonderful! It's a great time of year to get outside!
ReplyDeleteThis was so nice. Love this time of the year here when I open the door in the morning to let the pups out and the birds are singing their hearts out
ReplyDeleteNot easy to hear the sounds, but delightful reward for patience.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful bird songs, & I love learning about the different birds in your area! More please❣️ Kit, Kat, Rocky & Cali
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed Merlin myself.
ReplyDeleteHooray Spring! XX
