I asked the tubular to provide tunes for June. Among modern stuff, there was nothing at all to excite. Fallback to classical, then. Interesting. Virtually all of them were laid back, swooning sort of things. Lazy, hazy days of summer? Let's begin with this little cracker.
I had no idea Tchaikovsky had written The Seasons... which, to be honest, might have been better labelled as The Months, given there are fully twelve pieces. This one, of course, is June.
This is one of my favorite pieces of music. Thank you for sharing it.
