What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
I confess, when I saw this one on the listing from the tubular's June tune selection, I jumped at it. I suppose it got picked because it was from the Vienna Summer Concert in 2019, June 20th. One of my personal all-time favourite mood pieces. It evokes all sorts of memories, feelings, and a level of awe.
It is poetry in sound.
It is angst, sung.
It is love wrung.
It is prayer.
In the words of one of the commenters (and yes, it was in caps)
"MUSIC LIKE THIS SHOULD BE PLAYED IN THE STREETS OF EVERY CITY ALL OVER THE WORLD."
A wonderful choice, YAM. It is incredibly beautiful and evokes the better side of humanity. Maybe if Putin and Zelenskyy, and Netanyahu and the Ayatollah could be seated together to listen to it they might speak of peace and not war.
It's one of my favorites, too. It speaks to me, in part, of heartbreak.
ReplyDeleteIt's so calming.
ReplyDeleteIts beautiful and wow what a crowd of people listening. I agree, play it in the streets.
