What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menonday Art Vibe; Solo View

Sharing a one-off remainder from the January visit to the National Gallery of Scotland, when the watercolourists were on show - and there was a room dedicated to works inspired by the Isles of Orkney.

I have struggled, at times, to appreciate Victoria Crowe's works at the level she is much credited with. Generally, I find the images a little overly fussy for my taste. However, she does have a body of work that involves the setting sun, the moon, and clouds, and I do find those appealing.

This is one such... and quite possibly the only one of her oeuvre I would have on my own wall.
