Next, there were the Iguanas (Central America), the Bearded Dragon (Australia), and the Albino Python (Burma). They were all in a late afternoon siesta at the time of my visit, so a bit static - except for the Iguanas, who were all very curious and interactive through the glass. They were all clearly well cared for - though I did think the Iguanas and the Dragon might have benefited from slightly larger premises. In general, the idea of caged animals is not particularly appealing, but all of these animals were bred to it and were not in any way 'wild'. Very much pets. I admit I found the Tegu rather intriguing and would have loved an interactive moment.

ReplyDeleteWell I'll be a monitor's Aunty. I never in 100 years thought I'd say this but Mr. Bosc Monitor is actually quite to my liking.
I'm very fond of Gray and white (aka Madi). That being said all are quite interesting. I would like to see them from the outside of their enclosures.
Happy Nature and FFF
