Filled with lots of delight... a well-deserved winner. What is not immediately obvious, but clear if you look attentively, is that these are all whistles. As can be seen clearly on the last shot here too, each mini sculpture is stamped with the date of its making.
They look like flea-market knick knacks.
ReplyDeleteHow delightfully imagined and skillfully created!
ReplyDeletea little like things made many centuries ago, but that gives them this special something... I ike it....

How cool! I can only imagine the time put in to make these adorable little whistles!
ReplyDeletea lot of work went into making these, ceramic whistles are something I have not seen before.. they are really cute . this reminded me, I have 2 hurricane whistles, for safety if buried... for some reason, they stopped whistling, will no longer make a sound
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute collection of whistles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful display of creativity. I would be so tempted to try each one out:)
ReplyDeleteI meant to add that the price tag is also quite impressive.
ReplyDeleteDaily devotion for the artisan. I wonder if they were lined up in date order whether there is any 'improvement' in the whistle as the year passes.
