I haven't worked through recent photos sufficiently to have 'leftovers' for this spot, so once again I am going to trawl the archives for a couple of weeks... totally random, ad hoc, unsorted...
The beautiful bird looks like the male black-headed grosbeaks we see in the spring/summer in Northern California. Is it a grosbeak or something else, please?
What is the name of the illuminated fort house? That is really well done lighting and such warm colour. I love the bridge - my dream job (if anyone ever asked) was to join the painting team on that bridge.
Hari OM That is Eileen Donan Castle - possibly the most photographed after Edinburgh! And LOL... if you'd gotten on that team, your job would have been endless!!! Yxx
