Our third birthday boy is Baldassare Galuppi, 8th October 1706, Venice. ...OMG... how can I not have been aware of this amazing composer?! There were several pieces I could have brought you, but this fairly short item captures something truly magical... do you agree?
Ahhh, so very beautiful! I hear a lot of this composer when I listen to aroque programs. There is an Italian internet radio station (Venice classical) that often plays pieces by him. Thanks for this soothing interlude in my evening.
