Anyway, I always like to see what the rooms dedicated to Scottish architectural vision have on offer at the Annual Exhibition. I am going to bring you three that caught my eye. The first one here was on my 'choices' list, but as you see, sold already! I loved this Highlands background with the wee bothy home nestled so nicely into it. I also like to imagine that this was just the entryway built around a cave, and the living space is deep in the rock... a girl can daydream...


It does not especially appeal to me, YAM, but isn’t that the very essence of art that it can evoke admiration and wonder in one person, and indifference or even dislike in others? And values change, too, especially with exposure and education.

DeleteVery true, David... it has to be admitted, too, that the photograph does the piece no favours, for the collage created dimensions that are rather lost in this image... Yxx
