What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menokreatikkul; Saturday Stitchery with Ducky 6939

This is me, Ducky (of FB channel CMDucks), just dropping in to share with you the rather mesmerising day I spent with YAM-aunty and her friend Aitch. They are the peeps who picked me up from my resting place in north Northumberland and who have been sharing some time with me in the next stage of my adventures.

I am learning that adventure doesn't only have to mean going out and about at great pace to knock over steps and miles. Oh no. Turns out yarn can be an adventure, too... or at least, to hear these two talking, you'd have to believe so... You see me sitting in the pool of soft green that YAM is working (she kept wittering on about endless rows - but I saw no oars). Aitch is busy making pockets to be attached to the cardigan she is wearing in this photo, in pretty dusky pink (I may be biased) and cool purple. Yamini also muttered something about how glad she was I was here to fill in an empty space...

  1. you are entitled to be biased about pink - own it (you don't have much choice). Looks to me like you are adding unexpected variety to the body of pink duck experiences.

  2. You are a very good reporter, Ducky, and it looks like Aitch is hard at work on her knitting and Aunty YAM's sweater is coming along beautifully!

  5. Thank Aitch for filling in with her project for the sweater. She has a lovely airy den too
    Hey to Ducky also
During the month of july we've had a total of 14" of rain which is sets an all time record for July rain.
Yet we are still in a deficit due to dry fall and spring.
