The pics reminded me of Shelley's Ozymandias.
Truly amazing place, Awesome photos.
Those arches look lovely!
I love old cemeteries... it is as if the old times tell stories...
Beautiful views and photos! Take care, have a great day!
Beautiful photos and we love all of the incredible stonework!
Your discriminating eyes have been working overtime, YAM.
It's so beautiful to see all these buildings and fences. Built with rock centuries ago when they still stand.
Gravesites and fallen walls... so much of history buried therein,
That's all such beautiful scenery.
The black and white of the church ruins is breathtaking...wonderful leftovers today!!
Really lovely pictures; the last two are my favorites.
The walls, the stone work, all beautiful to see! I can't believe it was 10 years since you visited. WOW. XX
OMYamThose hills are alive....and beautiful as is the stone workHugs cecilia
Ooh, where is that? On a very random note I learned the other week that the Welsh word Cadw (the name of the heritage organisation) means 'keep'.
Hari OMDifferent spots from the summer road trip... Northumberlandia (bottom), Sweetheart Abbey, Newcastleton... Yxx
It all must be even more beautiful and interesting in person.
Inquiry and debate are encouraged. Be grown-ups, please, and play nice.🙏
