Me-no-can-see...

The neighbour dogglies, Austin and Jock visited again. Austin snored, Jock cuddled. It begged an opportunity to practice selfies with the YAMroid... very poor quality in every respect, but memories are made...

Menosukhi; Aunty At Play!

OMD Blogville... I got a playdate with a couple of dogglies!!!

My new upstairs neighbour asked, last week, if I would like to have Austin and Jock to stay whilst she was up at the hairdressers.

WOULD I EVER!!!

Austin is the chocolate labrador - at the large end of the scale (his head is at my waist level!) - and he is nine years old. Jock is the Jack Russel x ??? , who is a little over two years. We spent our first half hour together in rough and tumble. I introduced them to the idea of trying to get a treat out of an empty bottle... Jock was catching on, but Austin, not so much.

Jock is quite happy to be a lap dog... so I had a lot of this view... but anyway, once the initial half hour of excitement for us all went by, it was time to settle into quieter pursuits. I was busy at the keyboard, watching the tennis and chatting with my new wards. There were new sounds and sniffs about which they asked questions and needed some reassurance. The fellow walking around in the flat above, for example; the traffic and people chatting outside in the street; birds diving past the window. Lots to keep us interested and busy. Well. Jock and myself certainly. Austin was more inclined to have a snore or two.

Let's not ignore the fact that the sunshine arrived over the Hutch too!!! SUNPUDDLES TO BATHE IN... yeeehaaaaawww.

Life really doesn't get much better. Does it Austin?

Three hours passed very quickly indeed... next thing we knew there was a knock at the door and that was 'mum' back to pick up the dogglies. Not straight away, though; she'd brought her lunch with her and sat with me to watch the rest of the Murray v Querry match, so I had my lunch salad and the dogglies got another treat.

All in all it was a jolly fine afternoon. I think there will be more... Bye for now Jock.
