What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

EASTER BLESSINGS TO ONE AND ALL.

I am going to round off my three days of reflection simply.

  1. It is Sunday.  Almost universally this is accepted as a day of rest and recuperation.  I pray that it is so for you all
  1. For many, Sunday means a visit to church (or at least the thought that it could be done if only worship meant more to them than a lie in)
  1. It is important to realise that 'church' is in the heart.  So many have externalised their worship and consider it only applicable by entering a building reserved for the purpose.  Meet together in twos, threes or crowds and call upon Him.  That will be His church.  ...and it doesn't have to be on a Sunday…  we were given seven days of which to make good use.
  1. Today, at least, more will make special efforts to attend services all over the world in memory of the Lord Jesus Christ, whom we honour this day for His Resurrection, demonstrating to us that we are not the body, but Spirit alone.
  2. The blessings to be received were given out by The Master and they are as follows;

3 "Blessed are those who are spiritually needy.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
4 Blessed are those who are sad.
      They will be comforted.
5 Blessed are those who are free of pride.
They will be given the earth.
6 Blessed are those who are hungry and thirsty for what is right.
      They will be filled.
7 Blessed are those who show mercy.
      They will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are those whose hearts are pure.
      They will see God.
9 Blessed are those who make peace.
They will be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who suffer for doing what is right.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.

(Matthew 5, verses as given)

Wild YAM was renewed when He sent her off in a direction less travelled (by a little old white lady anyhow).  I am ever grateful for His shedding of a new and fascinating light.

[My prayer for today is that He shines a torch on where I put the baked beans I bought the other day.  I live in a 4m x 3.5m ensuite room.  One cupboard/wardrobe.  Two drawers.  A can of beans has gone AWOL………  (oh, you just know this is going to end in cackling at some point, don't you?)]

    Thank you Mahal.

Also to you Perpetua, a joy to have you visit. A difficult balance in a blog that is essentially to be light hearted and self-deprecating!

I do get a tad concerned about the misplacement issues... &>
