'A sense of humour lends you poise, it gives you balance and it helps you to bend without breaking'

Menoshukhi [men-oh-sook-hee]; the condition of being sentimental.

Last week I introduced you to Jade Dog MacWoof.  She of orange beauty, long of eye and paw.  Over the coming weeks I will fill in something of her life and that of Jasper Cat MacMeow.  They were a bonded pair.  I have many witnesses to attest that theirs was a special relationship.

This was never more evident than when Jade departed her body.  Jasper's body may have remained with me, but his spirit did not.  It left that same day as Jade.  If ever I hear anyone saying animals have no feelings…  ggrr - see tomorrow's menoloopal for my thoughts on that matter.  Suffice to say, the picture you see before you is of one very sad and lonely cat.  The story of their last little while together will come
in due time.

Prepare yourselves.

  1. He was never the same Jasper. Gosh I think he grieved for Jade dog more than any of us did.
