Menorise [men-oh-rIse]; the condition of inculcation

Let sleeping crocs lie.

That's the best advice I can give you after the week I've had!  When the ire is high and all you want to do is poke someone in the eye, best not.

Crocs never actually sleep you see.  They may look like dead sticks.  But they're faster than the bullet that thinks of speeding.  One's anger is like that.  It can whip back and bite you in the behind and the week you thought was the pits sinks further.

No.  Let it lie.  Check it out again in a couple of days.  Decide if it's worth the energy.

What was the problem again?

  1. Oh, I need to take that advice. I still have a snarly temper at times, usually when my pain level is high and my tolerance level is low. Must think about crocodiles.
    Thanks, Yam!

    ...and your welcome ladies!!

Forgot to credit that piccie - I took it at Australia's Crocodile Park up at Central Coast NSW some 5 years ago. He's a Northern Territory 'saltie' called Fred - I kid not. Very old but can't recall how many - could it be 87 years, Bertie? xx
