WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Monday is menosukhi day - the one in which I go all sentimental.

SPECIAL EDITION!!

We interrupt the tale of Jade's holiday for a very special visit with blog-pal BOZO!!!

Yes, YAM-aunty had the great good fortune last Friday evening to spend some time with Bozo and his humans, 'Magiceye' (Mr Deepak Amembal) and his good wife, Chitra-ji, as well as Mrs Amembal senior.

This was a cause of tremendous excitement for me as it is the very first blog-pal hook up.  (Others are in the offing ...look out Merle and prepare yourself Indigo!!! )  This may sound a bit crazy - or 'meno' - but I felt like a little girl, getting to go out in the evening, all dressed up and not having to report home by a certain time.  This non-ashram life is going to take a wee bit adjusting to!

At the door I was first welcomed by Deepak-ji himself but very shortly after by Bozo who was bouncing around like a pup and not the 10-year old that he is!  He has a happy smiling face - and so does Bozo…. &*> (Sorry, couldn't resist that.)

Once the excitement was over, Bozo settled at our feet and the humans became better acquainted over a light meal of semiya and sev and a lovely cup of chai.  A little of everything was covered, as is always the case in first meetings and Bozo kept checking in to see that we were behaving ourselves!  He thoroughly enjoyed one of the treats I had brought him as can be witnessed in these photos.  (You can see another photo over on his own blog.)

...is that for me???
YES it's for me!!

See this dad, am I a lucky dog??

If you have not already taken a look at 'Magiceye's sites, I highly recommend that you do.

There is -
Art for sale at Redbubble
and 500px
Haiku-style jottings at Photings
..and of course Petsalways!

The evening was a delight for me, but I did feel a little sorry that my generous hosts had to trouble themselves at the close in helping me find a ride back to the ashram… it was rush hour and none of the taxis wanted a fare to Powai!!  In the end I took an autorickshaw, which was bumpy, dusty, smelly and a HUGE amount of fun.  I did not at all mind the dodgems of the office crowd home travellers and the 80 minute ride (more than double the normal).  I even attempted a photograph of this experience.  For what it's worth here's a glimpse.

My hearty and warm gratitude to the Amembals and lots of hugs and wags to Bozo!!
