Monday is menosukhi day - the one in which I go all sentimental.

THIS IS THE POST I WANTED TO GET TO YOU THE OTHER DAY... (HENCE THE TITLE)
On Friday 8th I began the next part of my 'play tourist at home' series based on the Hawkesbury River.  It can continue for the menosukhi post as it happens!

Round the corner from the main foreshore at Brooklyn, to the South of the great sandstone bluff, lies a small protected inlet called Parsley Bay.  This whole area was a favourite place of Jade Dog MacWoof.  Lots and lots of new and different 'sniffs' could be had as well as chasing of gulls and ponderment on pelicans - she never quite understood what they were I think!!  Lots of ball throwing and picnicking too.

attempting to take Mac2 water ski-ing...
throw it mum throw it!!

sitting pretty (you've seen this before but I love it!)

Last week I did not have the pleasure of her company, but her memory was strong as I revisited this place.  I found lots of other critter's though.

Like this bush turkey raking the leaves.

When you can't get peace, you roost on top of a 15 feet high mooring post!!

Cockatoo wanted to play hide and seek...

KEEP WATCHING FOLKS - AM AT EMM'S PLACE MONOPOLISING HER LAPTOP FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AND POSTING BY SCHEDULE SO THAT YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO FILL A MINUTE OF YOUR DAY FOR THE NEXT WEEK.... I HOPE.
