WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-now-onna-way

It's a bit tricky at the moment.  Y'see, these blogs were set up in India. Which is fine.  The thing is that now I am in Scotland, they go live at my 18:30 on the evening before the date they are...

(ahem).  Mostly this doesn't matter because I plan.  I have, on the whole, a pattern and relatively clear image of what it is I wish to share with you each day and generally speaking this has nothing to do with whether you are reading it a day ahead or a day behind, eating breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is a tad different though.

This one, is wanting to say to you that, as you read it, I am on my way across to the West coast.

Unlike earlier when I was travelling the globe, however, the journey is less than three hours. Therefore the truth of the statement falls down.  For the simple reason that the chances of your ACTUALLY reading this in total sync with my journey by bus, train and ferry are... well... minimal at best.  However.  I claim artistic licence.  As you read this, I have paid for the house, have booked my hotel, booked the train tickets, packed the bags, and am preparing to travel/am travelling/ have travelled to the West Coast of this Bonny Land.

You should know too, that in organising the setting up of a landline telephone and internet connection, I understand there is a wait.  7th March.  This could make things a bit dodgy on the email and blogging front.

Part of this trip over, other than to pick the keys up on Friday, is to ascertain whether there is a place with wifi on offer for buying a meal.  They could become my new best mates.

The Argyll Hotel has wifi.  Perhaps I shall have to stretch the acquaintance.

Hope your day is going along at a rate of knots and as positively mine!

  1. If it's BT you're dealing with, did you check that they meant 7th March 2014…..?
Best of luck with the move. Hope the Argyll Hotel does good food too.
    Cheers,

  3. From reading the comment above I see that you have apparently found wifi and good food. Now that the important things are secured the rest should be a breeze. :)

  5. You do know that you can change the timezone you're in on blogger? Go to Settings, then language and formatting and then go to time zone. Click on the time zone you want (instead of India) and Robert is your aunt's husband!

Anyway, hope you have an easy move and that your stay in the hotel (with wifi) is a good one. It's nearly home sweet home!
