WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menosukhi...WHAT menosukhi??

Right now I am feeling anything but sentimental.  Am taking a break to type this.  Break from what?  Packing up the ridiculous amount of 'stuff' that has accrued during my few weeks at Mac2's flat. I type this to you late on Sunday arvo, a weak winter sun doing its best to ease the aching shoulders, back, fingers, you name it.  It's not just that I have to repack the three suitcases I brought with me.  Now there is all the gumph gathered as a result of Christmas, well-wishing, sales insanity (am going to need those things so why not buy them at bargain rates???)...

Then there is the bed change and wash the used linen.  There is the bathroom and kitchen scrub. There is the bog-awful vacuuming.  A task I loathe for the simple reason I have asthma and arthritis.  Neither of these handles the sucky beast all that well.  Did I mention this is a very
l-a-r-g-e flat??????

How much is left to do?  Too much.  Dad is collecting me and the bits at 7pm.  I have 2.5 hours to do what can be done.  No more than that.

So as you read this on what is the blog's Monday, I am either collapsed and immobile, giving it the zzzzzzzzzz; or am up and at the boxes in the garage doing the sort and repack that now requires attention.  This must be finished today (Monday).  I have to leave it in such a way that Mac1 can bring it to me in one or perhaps three loads, depending whether she can get hold of a van or not.

All this means one thing.  The Big Move takes place imminently!!  If there is a sentimental moment to be found in all of this it is simply that I finally have that last hurdle firmly in my sights and it is about to be cleared!!

Stay tuned.  Meanwhile; for those who popped in for their animal fix...

  1. You don't have to have asthma and arthritis to hate vacuuming! (Although I guess it helps).
    Cute animal shots.
