A nice observation, Henry, but it doesn't make me any more happy, as it really is true. We're talking six or eight weeks at my house; one crocus and no daffs yet open.

Henry Van Dyke was a very smart man. Our first day of spring was rather gloomy but now spring has finally arrived.
