Menostory [men-os-sto-ree]; something with meaning

Blessings of Easter to you all.

Many in the World today celebrate and contemplate the risen Christ.  Many of course do not. They still revel in the "holyday" it provides. They will use it to celebrate life in their favourite ways.  Lots will take to the countryside, hiking, camping; or to beaches. Then there are those who see food, drink and television as the objects of focus.

It is interesting that the world over there are different faiths but virtually all have a festival that coincides with the March-April moon cycle.  Also, for all those who profess no faith, benefits accrue from the periphery of festival.

The purpose of any philosophy is to better the individual, to bring about inner transformation. There are people in the world who, for many and complex reasons, reject any form of philosophy. We need the structure that philosophy provides. It can be atheistic, but it still provides structure by which to work through each day. There is no shame, as we progress through life, in progressing through philosophy also - indeed if we are approaching it correctly, questioning and applying principles, progress there certainly ought to be.

No matter your Life Philosophy, know it well, learn it well, apply it well. Allow it to grow you. Permit its change.

I have committed the cardinal sin of not copying down the publisher of this India-only available book.  I gifted it but took the measure of photographing some of the best bits (out of many excellent bits).  Will share a few each Sunday for a while.

The book is an anthology of ancient and modern tales of inspiration and I shall share a few more for a few Sundays (keeping within copyright constraints!!).

Blessings.  YAM xx
