EXTRA! EXTRA! EXTRA! A Menosukhi special report...

Hello Blogville - this is an extra-special post prompted by those delightful doods, Murphy and Stanley. I love what they get up to and their pawrents too!!  There are soooooo many dogs and cats and other critters out there and if I had nothing else to do in life I would be visiting each and very one of them.  However I have had to pick a few and just once in a while drop in on others.  

Today, though, the doods are running a marathon blog hop.  I am going to tell you a bit about me and then see if I can get around as many others as I can (though I may not always comment guys - there are only so many minutes in a year...)

WHO IS "YAM-aunty"?

A lady of a 'certain age' who has recently relocated from Australia (via India) to Scotland's West coast.  In younger years as a family we had cats, tortoises, rabbits and guinea pigs. When I was older, I kept budgerigars.  Once I got established in Australia I was joined by Jet the monster black agouti guinea pig, then Jasper Cat and then Jade Dog.  You can read their stories in the label marked as THE J'S over on the left bar there.

Jet loved being groomed...I would tap the brush and he would come running!!

Jasper was a meditative cat but also very affectionate and loved nothing better than being on my left shoulder. Left only, mark you!

Jade was a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix (probably some Staffy and some GSD).  She was loyal, loved people and enjoyed dancing! Here she is in her Deepavalli sari...

When I was in India, I rescued a puppy whom I named Rekha.  Her story has not yet been told...

Now, I don't have pets of my own, but get lots of enjoyment by being an honourary 'aunty' to all the pets in Blogville!!  One day I suppose I will succumb.  For now though, I have to get my fur-fix here.
