Out and about with the 'Fudge' - there was one sunny day. Just the one. Made the most of it!
As always, the cream of the crop will be kept for TAKE blog. These show the beginner's trubs of not quite working the exposures all that well, finding out that 'auto' mode tends to not be as good as taking over manually and that leaving the monopod at home is unwise when there is so much on offer at full lens extension...

So much sunshine and light in your pictures today! Love!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is that structure called? I thought a buoy, but now I'm not sure. Then, what is a breeches buoy? Off to the land of Google...
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures reminds me of odd days poking around on the shoreline on our coasts.

Oh that top one??? No that is actually a disused beacon (mini lighthouse) in centre channel of the massive Firth of Clyde. The shipping has to travel to the left of it in either direction. The seals were on those tiny rocks just out from the marker and still mid-channel, so you can see there is potential for running aground in the middle of the three mile stretch!!! I'd have to check as well, but a memory tugs that a breeches boy is more like a 'fox' for rescuing folks at sea.... okay just did the search and yes that's it! Cheers, YAM xx
Wow! Wish, it could be more often sunny -
