They come
They go
These creatures many
Flutter
Scatter
Never are still
Not like me
The one beneath
Without me
They have nothing
On which to rest
To stretch their wings
To show their colours
Or signal mates
They come
They go
These creatures Men
Stomp
Pomp
Circumstance
Unlike me
The one beneath
Without me
They are nothing
Cannot breath, eat
Or spread their arms
To show their might
Or signal mates
They come
They go
These creatures
I am ever
Yet they see me never.
This is one of the reposts from the 'TAKE TOO' blog. Am pre-loading the bloggy again this week as am uncertain of my travel timings ...

I could only think that this post was about pigeons. Even after reading it several times and some things not making complete sense (concerning pigeons) it was the most logical to me.
ReplyDeleteMind you, pigeons can be deep. They come and go, never any babies, yet always lots of birds.
