GAZE
A dropping moon
A dropping moon
Caught an artist's eye,
Ling'ring behind clouds
In a dawn-prone sky.
As Luna looked back,
So bright and silent,
Another gaze drank her;
Sighed deeply; then went.

This was a sketch and ditty inspired at Sandeepany by seeing my Sanskrit Tutor taking a private moment. He was unaware of my presence.
I was reminded of it by TAKE ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX.
I love that poem. So present, and so fleeting.

I like the poem and I sometimes feel the same when the moon catches our eyes (yes sometimes we watch the moon and the clouds at night, crazy, I know, but after watching the sky we can sleep much better, lol)
