What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Hari OM Well, of course that is exactly the concept behind the design - particularly the larger, 'pack-horse' style; but really, what's wrong with standard auto-drive wheeled Mars-rover-style things? For certain-sure there will be fur and whiskers added and a big marketing campaign before the decade is done..... (mumbles into her beard.....mutter mutter mutter....) Yxx
Hari OM .......................don't go giving them ideas!!! Think on it Bertie/Gail - what will happen to the household feline and canine companions if these AUTO-SQUIRRELS escape their military masters??? eeeekkk.... Yxx
Hari Om brwwhahahahahha - quite likely - but at least the leash is electronic and the two-legger can just have a seat!....then again,,, what if they break free???......Yxx
Dead scary if you ask me!! Bertie wants 'em to pee on a tree. I want 'em to bite that bloke that pushed 'em. What's wrong with those blokes?? If someone booted me like that I'd bite 'em on the bum.
WELL WE ARE ALMOST SPEECHLESS...WHAT WAS THE POINT OF KICKING IT? ROBOTS ARE SURELY SMARTER THAN THAT GUY!! THE FORMS WERE QUITE INTERESTING ONE LOOKED LIKE A COMBO OF A GIANT CRICKET AND A DOG.. AND ANOTHER LIKE A HORSE. WE HAVE A YOUNG FRIEND IN 7TH GRADE SHE IS DEEPLY INVOLVED IN A ROBOT CLUB...BUDDING SCIENTIST AND I'M SURE SHE WOULD NOT KICK ONE HUGS MADI AND MOM
Hari Om I think it is part of the "look how they recover" promo-style; "these are all-terrain, no-fall utilities we are giving you..." That sort of thing. The trouble is, when you have something that looks and (cuz we're human) feels like an animal, it is just plain WRONG.... sigh...I am actually all for advancements which are truly going to help us, but we all know there are negatives to such things too.... Yxx
Sort of creepy, to me! Then there are those drones!!!!
ReplyDeleteHari OM
DeleteIndeed - the scientist in me was fascinated, but there was somehow an undercurrent of.........what?..........horror??? Yxx
