WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menorukkul [men-orak-kull]; state of announcement.

DA-DAAAAA...TURRRURURURRR-TA-DAAAAAAAAAAA.
HEAR YE! HEAR YE! HEAR YE!

A service announcement brought to you by the Office of Wellness and Concerns, BLOGVILLE.

“Where?” you ask.

Blogville.

A virtual community on the etherwebs where hearts and paws share many a long walk, trips to terrify and tantalise, with tails….. (ahem)…tales to tell and events galore, filled with fun fun fun.

This is a quiet sort of place (though it has its moments!). It is not a place filled with folk trying to sell you something or use you to get ahead. It is not a place for attention seeking or back-biting. Blogville engenders all the best human values. It embraces all faiths, creeds and national identity. It has a passion for fur, feather, fin and even a crabby claw or two. Yes, primarily it’s the pets who are blogging! It is a place of creativity, imagination, caring, outreach, and fun fun fun.

During the month of May, there is a ‘recruitment drive’ taking place amongst the stalwarts of Blogville. We would love to have more folk joining in our dances, sports days, and all manner of other events. Just as with any community, there are varying levels of involvement, but a key thing is to have fun fun fun.

Does Blogville appeal to you?  Come have a sniff round and find out whether you think it is a place to stay and make your mark.  You can begin looking at other Blogvillager’s pages by clicking on the blogroll sidebar of this blog. (The one which says 'Animalogues'.) You can find out about the sorts of events which are ongoing or pending by viewing the Blogville Calender. To read who the current ‘administration’ are, visit the Mayor-doods, Murphy & Stanley. (Yes, we hold elections!) Law and order is maintained by the pawlice force headed by Sarge and the judiciary, Frankie & Ernie. Oh yes, this is a serious place…[sounds of giggling heard in background, such fun fun fun…]

If you decide to ‘move in’, all that is asked of you is that you sign up for the calendar, and at least two other bloggies – this one included! Comments are never compulsory, but they are encouraged and ought at all times to be pertinent to the post with all usual courtesy applying.

Quality content, sharing beauty, fun fun fun.
(Was that mentioned?)
Come on over. We don’t bite.

Hello Eileen! It is fun but very caring and has been embracing of this strange little midlife honourary 'aunty' to the extent of giving me 'office'!!! I do not currently have any live furiends - my darling 'J's are long gone (see the label on left sidebar to read the various posts on them) but my love of the companion animal remains strong so I enjoy them through sponsoring and via Blogville - so don't feel you have to stand back from it - It's the support aspect which is strongest of all. It does need to come with an addiction warning though.....&*<> Yxx

PS Gail is trying to think of someone suitable to recruit, but most of her friends give her a sort of tolerantly despairing look when she talks about dog blogging….

It does indeed Mimsie! You may recall I once mentioned Madi and her Mom to you when you first got your Calico Cuddler... I really do think you would get lots of smiles and enjoyment from her bloggy - and indeed from many others; you already meat Charlie and his mum from Downunder because I know they joined your place already .... and I know that Blogvillle would LOVE you and Miss Candy even if you only posted together once a week... hint hint hint &*> There's no 'catch' - just plain good ol' fashioned penpalling type of stuff. Come on over Mimsie and Cat!!!!! xxx
