WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menospirussy; when stuffies collude - a menosukhi moment

I was concerned when I discovered Eric the Guide Stuffy in Training over by the window, whispering in the ear of Herbutt the Hund. As you may have gathered by now, dear readers, the pupster is a bit wild. Well... just being a puppy, I suppose, full of mischief and energy. The other stuffies are all very patient with him. I thought Orson the Ovine was remarkably restrained after the mutton-busting incident.

Herbutt is generally very reliable and tends to sit back watching it all happen, so his possibly being in cahoots with the young 'un is a bit surprsing. When I looked up at the sill above them, though, there was another surprise.

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO UP TO??!!" (Newted and Cocotoo are best pals, as they traveled all the way from the Down Underparts together - they are rarely apart.)

It's okay YAMum, we are just gazing out the window at that bright stuff.  It is making us blink a bit, but it reminds us so much of the Place of our Making and we were wondering about your trip back there...

"OH YES...?"

"REALLY? WELL IT IS A FACT THAT PACKING YOU BOTH WOULD BE A CHALLENGE."

"FOR STARTERS, ERIC, THAT WASN'T REALLY ME. IT WAS A DEMONSTRATION MODEL ONLY. (Hope she got danger money.) SECONDLY, I THINK THAT NEWTED AND COCOTOO ARE BEING VERY THOUGHTFUL. THEY WERE SAD TO LEAVE OZ AND CAN ONLY COMPARE NOTES WITH EACH OTHER ABOUT WHAT IT IS LIKE. IF YOU COME WITH ME, YOU NOT ONLY WILL GET SOME WIDER EXPERIENCE - AS BEFITS A TEENAGER - BUT YOU MIGHT UNDERSTAND THEM BETTER AND BE ABLE TO SHARE EXPERIENCES."

It went silent for a few days. Eric came to me yesterday, though, saying that he thought he would like to make the big trip after all. So without them even knowing that I was already having a bit of a crisis as to who to pick, they have sorted it out all by themselves!!!

Phew....

  2. It sounds like they put a lot of discussion into this. What does stuffie discussion sound like anyway?

A bit like rain... which means I can't hear them most of the time due to the prevailing weather conditions. Lord knows what is being discussed sub-rosa!!! Yxx

  4. Some deep thoughts and conversations are going on there, it would be a difficult situation to choose between the two. I am glad I do not have to make that choice! Enjoy your new week ahead!

do you know, until you mention, I would have said I don't have feline stuffy... then remembered that I do - of sorts - it is a scented pillow stuffy and I sleep on it every night. Just so used it now, I kinda furgot it. I think it must be a genuine 'stuffed critter' though, as it has never uttered a word or moved an inch... perhaps this trip might see an addition to the stuffagerie?.. &*> Yxx
