First, note that this post is prompted by the wonderful idea of Hailey & Zaphod to reach out to the Three Little Pugs and their family - especially to their dad, Butch, who had a dreadful accident at work and is in need of lots of medical attention. Blogville's Power Of The Paw page has been hot with updates on Butch (many thanks to the organisers of that!)
Blogville really rallies to support it's network and, even from total strangers, the connection of Love with the capital 'ell' is what crosses otherwise impenetrable boundaries and brings some light to the dimness. H&Z are so Loving to have thought of this, and I hope they will not mind if I say that, along with extra specially big ones for Butch and Deb, I am including efurrybuddy who is currently in need of that little extra TLC with hug.sssss....
This is a subject on which I have some expertise, and have previously written on the matter. If you missed the hug posts you can CLICK HERE and/or CLICK THIS ONE.
For today though here is Rekha INDypup; demonstrating, first, that even in absence it is pawsible to hug a dear one. (You may not choose footwear, of course, but each to their own!) ... then finding out that hugging is something which can be safe and reassuring, when it comes with that capital 'ell' Love.
In terms of the chakras, the energy centres of the body, the heart-centre is called ANAHATA.
It's sound is यं / yummmmnnnn
This can be used as a mantra for calming the being.
Now go check out the hugs around the globe!

Hugs are a good thing. I don't care for them so much but I hear they are many benefits from them. And mom said everyone over at the three little pugs really needs some so I didn't mind doing my part.
