What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-Now-Views; the pre-OZ Venture

Well, normally this is just a picture page... so am actually going to back track to a handful taken in that visit to Edinburgh pre-flight; why? Well, frankly, I need the breathing space. It took two full days to sort through the nearly 1000 shots taken over the two months and collate to a couple of hundred from which I could resize and watermark and select for blogs. As that couldn't be done till I got back to Voovoo the Vaio here in Dunoon, that means up till Saturday. Then I also had to unpack (dreadful task), do the laundry, and all those other things one needs to do to resettle after such a long absence.

So am posting on Sunday; and need a two-day blog-buffer so that I can make my posts half-way sensible. Here are views of the street near father's place, a decoration in Mac1's window, a shadow shot in Mac1's music room and a moderately decent shot from The Fudge of the National Museum of Scotland's main hall; you may recall earlier in the year, one was taken with the little old Nokia and was really rather a shameful offering...

  5. I think that kitty has bad things on its mind, what with those three owls sitting there in the same tree!

Watermarking my photos. Now that would be something to learn and do.

  7. I read your last post also ~ you were offered PJ's on your long flight well I never heard of that! All I have is a little old Nokia so you photos always look terrific to me for I think the true picture is in the eyes of the beholder and you take wonderful pictures. I love old rod iron fences with their detail like the pineapple.
    Thanks for being a friend

  8. Half the work is in pruning! My kids don't. They put them all up in the iCloud, fuzzy, and I have to try prune more, too! I love the tree best.
