It's my birthday. Am going to indulge in some arty-farty shots. Mac1 came to Dunoon with me when I returned from Edinburgh two weekends back. Spring sprung and we had a most wonderful one-one time together for the first time since ever I returned to Scotland. The Maestro's departure has undoubtedly left a hole in my sister's life - but she is strong and seeking to embrace life differently. She has a strong artistic streak, as all the Macs do. We spent most of our outings taking images as creatively as we could. This is a selection from mine - with (of course!) more to come. &*>
Well I am wishing you a most happy birthday remember to
ReplyDeleteCount the age, not the wrinkles you have. Count the blessings and wonderful experiences you’ve had, not the mistakes you’ve made. Your arty-farty are great.
Thanks for being a friend

DeleteBOL... that would be the river Little Eachaig (pronounced 'eck'), the colouration coming from the peat bogs high in the hills... the flower is a swamp lily bud... and the tree is a twisted witch hazel (sometimes called corkscrew hazel) - OR as you cleverly say, the Harry Lauder Walking Stick!!! Huggies, Yxx
