Menokakkuls... Me-Now-Views Northumbrian Special

Here are the shots from Barter Books, mentioned on Monday's post.

There are so many nooks and hide-aways in the place, as well as central seating and gathering areas.

Dogs are actively welcomed! You will see a piccie below of Meg, the cockeroodle (her lady said 'cockerpoo' was not the right description for her darling - and I agreed!) There is even one side hall - the original ladies waiting room - where light refreshments can be taken and dogs may also enter. They are only not permitted in the actual bistro part. Fair enough.

In the outer hall, there is a model railway running several 'services' above the bookshelves.  What a great place!!!

...did I mention the Fudge took 180+ images?...

Don't panic. I'll cull them... &*>

I have the day off today. Hubby's doing MealsOn Wheels, then getting some supplements in the next town, then having new summer tires put on the car. And we expect snow. sigh.
