The last of the current crop from the Little Black Book. It was a 'duet' form poem - an attempt at demonstrating covering the same subject matter in two different patterns. A tad pretentious I suppose, but fun to revisit. Thank you all for your forbearance as I have trawled through these!
Most impressed by your youthful literary ambition!

You have an amazing talent.
ReplyDeleteCrikey Aunty ..... keep trawling. Your treasures are a delight. Mum loved both of these and you did capture the same subject matter 'so differently'.
ReplyDeleteYour black book is a sensory delight of words.
ReplyDeleteyou found wonderful words... I like the part with the cherry trees and the lovers... they belong together somehow :o)
ReplyDeleteI knew you had a way with words. I do love your handwriting, though!
