What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

One of the great manifestations of capital 'ell' Love is compassion. When we have this love and sympathy for another's poor state, we fund some ability to provide succour in one form or another; it is a fundamental part of comfortable community living. In this TED talk, Robert Thurman (yes, Uma's dad; but he was also the first American to be ordained as a Tibetan monk by the Dalai Lama) mentions 'the charter'; it is a reference to an organisation which has been established to encourage the action of compassion arising from Love.
