What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

MenOoWaC; Bark Alerts

As mentioned in yesterday's post, the YAMster was flapping around for some ideas to post under the banner of OoWaC. That tech alert was impawtant enough give a bark-out all of its own. These others are grouped together because they are pretty much only links for you to follow... yes they are legit!!!

The first one came about due to another search altogether. The YAMster has been swithering away at writing a publication which is basically a philosophical meandering; but it so happens that it is centred on art and how we perceive it. Blow me down if this week the BBC hasn't decided to do a series about ... art and how we perceive it... sigh... again one is reminded of the Universal Thread and that there is no such thing as original thought. That aside, conceptual art is a great interest of mine and thus, for a second time this week, I am blown down on discovering this article. It is written very 'tongue in cheek' but hits all the questions about art and concept in a most wonderfurs way. Roxy Hess is now a herobitch of mine!!!

What you will notice about that article is that it is from a well-known and loved online news source. Did you know, though, you can access all articles dog-related here? One can also search for cat-related articles... and birds... just change to animal of choice in the url. It's a nice way to spend an hour or two.

For much more serious and meaningful dog-related news though, there is Life With Dogs... and don't you know it, there is also Life With Cats!

With that discovered, I thought to try a similar search on one of my favourite science news sites. Well blow me down once more, quite the selection of articles to be read here too!!! The same search on the term 'cats' was a bit more variable and perhaps not so much of general interest. However this one article on aging cats might be worth a read.

That lot should keep you entertained for 87 minutes or so.
