Yesterday I mentioned about going up to view the new bridge on the Forth. It is quite the event round here, y'ken. They even built a dedicated viewing bay on a road up the hill and along a bit. It affords the following scene...
...and now, of course, there is going to be an orgy of images from this industrial beauty... Do check out that link above if such things interest you - personally I think this a very fine addition to our collection of crossings!
We didn't spend the whole time up at the viewpoint... we did drive down to the shore line and look up and along - as best as could be done through the high wire fencing which was up to keep the likes of us out...
As we drove away, up onto the ring-road again, managed to fire off the next shot through the rear (tinted) window of Mac1's speeding vehicle - am impressed myself that it came out even remotely well!!!
