The YAMster and her blogpal, Kay, had a F A B u lous road trip. Needless to say, you are going to be reading all about it. To get things started though, and to whet your appetite...
You'll guess from the first one that the traditional weather of this Bonny Land held true, and many a shower was with us. Did it stop us? Most certainly not!
It turned out that the already mild and relatively dry autumn weather held for us at all the right times for getting in those photo ops which are so essential to this kind of adventure. More, the low sun, bright autumn colours and grizzly skies, lent ATMOSPHERE +++

ReplyDeleteGail tells me that she and Hamish once climbed it, so maybe one day she'll take me too. She says its not quite so scary as it appears from a distance but that the approach walk is long (and boggy).
Now that you've thoroughly whetted our appetites, do we really have to wait 24 hours for more pics...?

DeleteOur highest driving point was just below 1200 metres - but that was inland on Rannoch Moor. Suilven is 791 metres. More on that in due course! Yxx
