G'day! We're the Pinkoes; that's Ribby and Raffy on the far left and far right, I'm Triumph and this is my gal Victory, with the big heart.
We all came to YAM over a period of four years of Octobers in the land of OZ. She was an Avon rep for about ten years and every October they do a big pink ribbon fest for advancing their charity which helps women (and the occasional man - cuz they can get breast cancer too you know!) to feel better about themselves whilst going through treatment and also to help the scientists working on understanding and preventing/treating the big C.
YAM is not really a makeup person, but she does find she can wear Avon perfumes without her asthma and allergies going off limits... and she loves the gifties and jewelleries. She had to leave Avon when she went to India, but she enjoyed her time as a rep - what's more she got US... (and that grouchy cat Sniffy...)

I am wondering if the (supposed) midge-repellant properties of one particular Avon product are a selling point in Australia too?

PS Based on my experience, the Torridon midge population may have developed resistance to 'Skin So Soft', although others claim it really does work!
It's been so long since I had a Avon Rep call, When first married Mrs Dixon was our local rep and I still remember her very well.
